Monday	· Overview of Week · Introduce new vocabulary and write one sentence per word. · Continue Hyperbole & Understatement Lesson
	Write 2 eight line poems (minimum), one with an AABB rhyme scheme and one with an ABAB rhyme scheme.
Tuesday	· A closer look at rhyme & repetition · Looking at extended metaphors in poetry (Whitman & Blake)
	Imitative Poetry: Looking back at the poems we read in class today, turn in at least 15 lines of poetry that center around one extended metaphor.
Wednesday	· Independent Reading/ Choose poem for 3D assignment · Binder Check
	3D poetry assignment. Due next Monday.
Thursday	· Vocabulary Quiz · “Lesson of the Moth”
