8th Grade Language Arts January 23-27

Monday	· Overview of Week · Presentation roles assigned · Performance groups pick themes
	You must “rewrite” one page of your scene to reflect the theme you and your group have chosen. Each line should reflect the intention behind the original text, but be worded in a way that reflects the new theme. Each member of the group must choose a different page. This work will be graded.
Tuesday	· Revision Day
	Work on revising your paper for half an hour
Wednesday	· Performance practice (& Binder Check)
	Practice your part at home for half an hour. Begin memorizing your lines.
Thursday	· Revision
	Complete revision. Continue to work on memorizing your lines, if you have time.
Friday	Meet with your performance group to continue working on your “modernized” script
