Tuesday

Bottle Rocket Experiments

·         Write Discussion section of your formal lab report

·         Share findings with the rest of your class

·         Homework:  Complete a final draft of all sections of your lab report

Wednesday

Forces

·         Introduction to forces

·         Force plate experiments and graph interpretation.

·         Homework:   Work collaboratively with your partner from class to sketch out the procedure for an experiment you want to try.  Your experiment should involve measuring force as the dependent variable.

Thursday

Force experiments

·         Begin Force Experiments

·         Homework:  Science Fair – work on background research.  You need a minimum of three sources.  They wil need to be cited in MLA format.  You may use Wikipedia, but it will not count as one of your three sources.  Confirm what you find on Wikipedia by comparing the information with what you find in other sources. On Friday, be prepared to have your teacher review your science fair question/purpose (have it written down) and your research.
