HW for Nicole's Math Classes - 1/30-2/3/12

6th Grade:
Monday - pp. 233-234 #1-5, 10-13, 18-20, 23-27, 30-32
Tuesday - Visit the StudyZone website for Converting Units of Measurement. Copy the important facts of each problem into your HW notebook and solve the questions. After all your work has been done (or you get stuck on a certain step of the problem) click on the solution link to check your answer.
Wednesday - Measure your room and record 10 items in a data table. Then convert your measurements to scale (1 foot = 1 inch).
Thursday - Using the scale measurements of your room, draw a bird's eye view of the floor plan of your room. Include all 10 items. Use a ruler and graph paper.


7th Grade Pre-Algebra:

Monday - Study for tomorrow's test! Do the practice problems circled on the Cumulative Practice worksheet. Show all your work in your HW notebook. Review your answers with a parent for 5-10 minutes and get their signature at the top of your worksheet or in your HW notebook.
Tuesday - Test day, no homework!
Wednesday - Build-a-table worksheet: Fractions, Decimals, Percents, and Dollars. Finish your op-art design.

7th Grade Algebra:

Monday - Quiz 2 on p. 172 (#1-12)
Tuesday - Finalize which two Ratios projects you will work on this week. Collect the materials you will need in order to work on your projects for the whole class period tomorrow.
Wednesday - Spend at least 30 minutes working on creating 2 amazing ratio projects!
Thursday - Ratio projects due tomorrow! Get a good night's sleep for tomorrow's test!
