7th Grade Language Arts Feb. 6-10

Monday	· Overview of the week · Looking at “meter” through limericks
	Adverb poems (explained in class). Write at least 20 lines of poetry.
Tuesday	· Begin assembling your final poetry portfolio. This should include your 7 best poems. Poems should be typed, single spaced. Feel free to play with pictures, fonts, line breaks, etc. to enhance the message of your poems.
	Continue assembling your poetry portfolio.
Wednesday	· Begin reading Treasure Island aloud.
	Continue reading ch. 1 tonight for homework. Answer questions on worksheet.
Thursday	· Continue revising your poems
	Final version of your 7 best poems due tomorrow.
Friday	Treasure Island, continued.
