Monday - pp. 253-254 #11, 18-24 even, 32-38 even; pp. 261-262 #10-14, 24-27, 33-34.
Tuesday - What is the Difference Between Unlawful and Illegal? worksheet. Quiz tomorrow on ordering, adding, and subtracting positive and negative numbers!
Wednesday - Investigative activities on p. 272 (multiplying integers) and p. 278 (dividing integers)
Thursday - Prepare your HW notebooks for grading. Use the grading rubric as a checklist to make sure you have a perfect notebook!
Pre-Algebra:
Monday - Finish your "math dragon" packet. Review our notes from class and do all the practice problems.
Tuesday - Finish the U.S. Holiday Candy Sales worksheet. Quiz tomorrow on adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions, as well as simplifying fractions into decimals and percents.
Wednesday - Follow this link to the scavenger hunt questions that we started on Friday. Don't worry about the large numbers on the top half of each clue.
Thursday - Working with 2 dice (or a dice app or playing cards), roll the dice to create a fraction (one die = numerator, one die = denominator). Write your fraction down in your HW notebook. Then roll the dice again to create another fraction. Choose to multiply or divide the two fractions. Create 15 equations in your HW notebook. You may not use an operation (multiplication or division) more than 10 times. **Also complete today's in-class activity.
Algebra 1:
Monday - No HW - Grace is playing in the tennis match!
Tuesday - Finish your Sweethearts Candy activity questions. Quiz tomorrow on writing and solving linear equations.
Wednesday - Follow this link to the scavenger hunt questions that we started on Friday. Remember, get yourself through all 12 clues!
Thursday - Finish the Monopoly activity that we started in class. Question #10 asks you to repeat questions #1-3 and #9 for a different column on the rent table.
